Bhiwadi Marathon on Sunday to Promote Fitness, Races to Start from Vedanta Farms

Sports@ncrkhabar. com-Bhiwadi (NCR).  With the aim of promoting fitness and sports culture, the Bhiwadi Marathon will be organized on Sunday in the city. The main objective of the event is to develop Bhiwadi as a fitness hub and encourage youth to participate in sports and physical activities.

Organizer Sunil Yogi said that the marathon is not just an event but the result of continuous efforts made over the last five years. The marathon will start from Vedanta Farms located on Alwar Bypass in Bhiwadi. A large number of runners and fitness enthusiasts from the region are expected to participate in the event.

The marathon will include different race categories so that people of all age groups can participate. The categories include 10 km, 5 km, 3 km and a wheelchair race of 500 meters. The 10 km race will start at 5:45 AM, the 5 km race at 6:30 AM, the 3 km race at 7:15 AM and the wheelchair race will begin at 8:00 AM.

The marathon route has been planned from Vedanta Farms to the Bhiwadi Bypass. The 10 km race will consist of two loops, while the 5 km race will have one loop on the same route. Organizers said that proper arrangements for route marking, water points, medical support and volunteers have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of the marathon.

Nahata Foundation trustee Amit Nahata said that attractive cash prizes will be given to the winners of the competition. In the 10 km category, the first prize will be Rs 11,000, the second prize Rs 5,100 and the third prize Rs 3,100. Separate prize money has also been fixed for the 5 km and 3 km categories. Special prizes will also be given to participants in the 40+ and 50+ age categories to encourage senior runners.

Organizer Sunil Yogi said that all preparations for the marathon have been completed and the event is expected to see participation from Bhiwadi and nearby areas. He appealed to the residents of the city to participate in the marathon in large numbers and support the fitness movement in the city.

The marathon is expected to become one of the major fitness events in the Bhiwadi region and will help promote awareness about health, fitness and an active lifestyle among people. The organizers believe that such events will motivate youth to stay fit and participate more in sports activities in the future.
